Some times it resets over night and some times after like two hours. Is there any way to keep it from reseting so i can keep a full tank average without having to do it the old fashion way?

To clarify im talking about the digital screen between the gauges.

Got our answer. Go to page 38 of your manual and you'll see where it talks about "Memories". There are three display modes: single-trip memory (denoted by 1 in the right corner of the display); complete-trip memory (denoted by 2 in the right corner of the display); and, display off. The complete-trip memory will keep the mileage until you reset it. So, to get to it, you need to briefly press (i.e., tap) the reset button to cycle to the next mode. Just tried it out and the problem is solved.
