cemetic wheel hubs?

Default cemetic wheel hubs?

. have the 2005.5 which i think the hub bore is 57.1............... i think i have a set of american racing rims. (casino) wheels. that i have on the car... but the hub size on the rims is much larger than the hub bore on the car...... so i guess i need sum cemtric hubs. or whatver there called......... i went to a place or 2 (locally).... and didnt have much help. then i got sum guy who was like ok im not sure what sizes but ima order u a couple that r for audis and there to a bigger size . lol./... i think the arw are 70.3...........he said they dont hmake them 70.3 unless its a wheel from the 80s. im like dude i no there like 2009.. or sumthing they still sell them now on there website so there not that old. anyway i get up there and dudes like. did we order.......blahh blahh. no help what so ever........ im not even going back.....but can sumone help me here...a place or sumwher i can get them.. i detect a slight vibration in the wheels... and i guess ts cuz i dont have them on at all i just have them bolted on so. lol

i actually have seen a few Audi's with Mercedes wheels that have larger hub diameters...

There was no vibration or any issues. You have to imagine that the 5 lugs hold the wheels pretty sturdy in place. And keep in mind people that use lug adapters and wheel spacers take away from the inner rings purpose as well and really don't have any problems.

I'd question the wheel balance before i even thought about replace the wheel hubs.

Cause honestly..... for the price and labor involved. You'd be better of buying another set of wheels.

I have Mercedes wheels on my GTI. I went over all the specs as stated in his last post. He asked the same question last week. You need the rings the be perfectly balanced.

He's talking about hubcentric rings (somewhere in that jumble of typos and random periods), not spacers.
