My paddle's don't work in D however does work in + and - mode and S mode. Do you have the CVT gearbox or is your a different type of box?

 

I have the six speed auto with quattro. I wonder if it's a software thing then

 

If you have the same box as mine (all being that yours is just a AWD box instead) I would imagine it would be a software thing, in the CVT the gear steps are only softgears anyway. I do think it works well though, I prefer hearing stepped changes rather than the whine that you get when you accelerate in D.

 

OH, sorry, i was confused. i didnt realize you had the CVT. as far as i know, the CVT is frontrak? (front wheel drive) and the quattro is a traditional six speed, or 8 speed for newer models i think.
