Have had the fuel pressure p0089 code off and on for a year. dealership only changed the sensor which didnt help. wanna change the pump....... but went to another dealership for 2nd opt. and they said nothing is wrong with your fuel pump i dont think thats the problem. car runs great just cel. i hear ppl saying bout a intake motor flap.. or a reflash...... someone has to have some info on this... cuz i no its common among the 2005.;5 2006 models.....someobody.................knows something..................

The dealerships should know about this problem and I do believe its a programing problem where a reflash should fix it. And chances are if you car runs perfectly fine, then the fuel pump is fine since you'd know if there was something wrong with it.

It def. runs 100% i just cant seem to find a fix for it anwhere..... has anyone else had the reflash done......price. or any other info....thought it shoulda been the low pressure sensor. had that change 2-3 times. idk

i bet the check engine light is from the intake flap motor. take it to the dealership and have them check the codes. they will 1st re-do the programming for it. if the light comes on again, they will replace the motor. it happened to me and it was all free, under warranty. if you pay, it will be ~$500.

the reflash is in regarding the intake flap motor..... there is no flash for the fuel pressure sensor.

well i said bout a reflash at my dealership and they looked at me like thats not possible. or sumthing idk.. anyone know what a reflash will cost me outa pocket?/
