Did anyone else get their warranty extention paperwork? Apparently Audi has decided to extend the warranty for the Intake Manifold Runner Control Motor, Fuel Pressure Sensor, and the PCV valve on the 2.0t. Those parts are now warrantied for 10 years or 120,000 miles. Basically the 2005.5-2008 A4, with engine code BPG or BWT. Certain A3's and TT's have had their warranties extended too.

Haven't received mine yet. My fuel pressure senson went bad 2 months back, had to shell out $250. Would they reimburse, when I receive my papers?

 

They should. The form to request reimbursement is in the letter.

 

Got my letter few weeks back and have sent in my request for warranty reimbursement and will let you know what happens, I have a receipt for the parts but did labour myself so I'll let you know what they pay me....

 

This same thing happened to me with my Jetta, when my Mass Airflo Sensor malfunctioned, and also when the hazard lights switch malfunctioned. I got the paperwork for the warranty extension, and sent in my VW repair bill, and with in about a month and a half or so got my $ 315 back for the sensor, and $ 69 for the switch.

 

i got the letter too but i can't find the actual receipt for the PCV work. i have the audi dealership invoice, which i paid. so i hope the invoice is good enough.
