New B7 Owner Question
Greeting, I just purchased an '08 B7 A4TQ Black/Black from as a daily driver replacing my 987 Modded Boxser as my daily and keeping my 987 for the weekends/track. I'm a long time member of 6Speed and just recently came over. I hope I can make this my home as I made 6Speed mine. Anyway, I got a couple pretty straight forward questions... the A4 that I purchased didn't come with the convenience package, therefore no Xenon. Can I simply purchase an OEM headlight and plug them right into the existing harness or do I have to purchase OEM Xenons? Second, I heard that the A4 can be retrofitted with 996 Calipers. Are there any truths to that? has anyone done that before? I got 2 sets of calipers in my garage. Third, is it possible to run a stagger setup on a A4 without driving the Quattro system nuts? if so, What's the widest I can go up front and in the rear?
Here's a few pictures of my former 987 Daily Driver now weekend/track car.....pics of the A4 to come soon.

WOW, thats a badass Boxter!!!
1. You can buy an HID kit and install on an OEM headlights, but u better buy some xenon lenses, but id say better buy the whole new set. Click Hereto see what happens if u put hid kit in oem NON xenon lights.hereto see what choices u got
2. I think there is something true about the 996 calipers. Click HERE for some help.
3. The diameter of the whole wheel + tire have to be almost the same in front/rear. I think there is 3-5% of a difference between them is possibility. As long as they are the same, you can go 8 in front, 11 in the back
) Dont quote me on the 3-5% though, click HERE
