Default Parrot MKi9100 in 2007 A4 w/ nav (but no Bluetooth)

Curious if anyone has any hints, tips, success or horror stories re: installing a Parrot MKi9100 into a 2007 A4? Looking to do this, but want to make sure I know what I'm getting into! I'm looking to have it professionally installed- am also not sure what I need to be looking for in the installer, etc..

Also, while I'm at it- is it possible to swap out the headlamp assembly on my A4 with one of the HID assemblies? Not sure if the wiring is different, or if it's just a simple "plug and play" kind of thing?

Thanks!

HID upgrades are pretty easy, pretty much plug and play if youve ever done a HID upgrade before. Your looking for an H7 type HID upgrade for either the low beam or high beam (this is for halogen type assemblies, not 100% sure on bi-xenons but im pretty sure its the same) and its pretty easy once you understand whats going on. You'll recieve a bulb and ballast, you install the ballast on the current harness of your assemble which then connects to the aftermarket bulb. All the ballast does is complete a loop adding in the ballast into the wiring circuit. The instructions that come with most settups are pretty clear on installation if i have confused you.

Sounds pretty straightforward.. Any suggestions re: where to pick up a kit? Anywhere good online?

Thanks again.. Just got the 07 A4, am loving it so far..

I don't know about the 9100 but the Parrot ck3000 with the addition of the steering wheel controls seems easy to install. There are a few posts on other sites that go through step by step with pictures of how easy it is to install.
