Default PRNDS red, iphone and soft questions

Hi! I just bought my first Audi. Its 2005.5 A4 quattro avant with 97k miles on it.

I have few questions.

1. Yesterday I got coin stuck below shifter....When fishing it out I disconected the printed board that sits under the shifter cover. Now PRNDS is all red on the dash board, doesn't show gear change or gear number right next to it, also tiptronic doesn't work. Autozone scaner didnt show any codes today. Also disconnecting battery didnt do anything. Any advice on how to fix this issue?

2. Tonight when I started one of the headlights did not light up and yellow bulb sign was showing on the dash board. After turning car off and back on everything came back to normal...is this something to worry about?

3. Previous owner installed iphone integration kit and disabled CD changer. I want to take that of and get the CD changer to work again. When I was trying to use my iphone via bluetooth I was able to browse my phone book etc and make a phone call using just steering wheel buttons...but was not able to answer calls. It would show incoming calls on the dashboard but I wasn't able to answer it. Phone was connected to car via bluetooth. What am I missing here? Or maybe this problem is related to Iphone integration kit?

4. Software...i want to buy a cable and software for this car...but cant find anything. All the ones I looked at said that they would not work with B7 A4...can you point me in a right direction?( link to a store or ebay would be great)

1. how did it get disconnected? unplug something or rip a wire? i would just plug it back in or solder the wire if ya ripped it. taking the console apart is kind of a bitch but you can google for a DIY.

2. what kind of headlights do you have? halogen or HID? if the buld didnt really burn out then it was just a power problem. same thing happens if you put led bulbs in certain spots. wouldnt worry unless it starts to happen a lot

3. does your steering wheel have the thumb wheels? i dont have an iphone but my car works fine with my android phone. to answer an incoming call, press/click the left thumb wheel.

4. software? you mean the vag-com stuff? i have looked around but its hard to find a reliable source so i never bought anything. the cables are cheap and found anywhere but the actual software is tricky. Ross Tech makes a bunch of versions that are very expensive. some knock off sites say they have trial type software that has very basic functions and prolly wont let you hack the car like you want.

1. disconnected...nothing was ripped but unfortunately i had to turn the car on while it was disconnected.

2. HIDs...it only happened once and there was no other problems so far

3. Yes it does....I'll try that!!

4. I bought cable and newest VCDS...I hope it will let me do what i need to do.

Thanks for your help!!!

Was finally able to get my vag scanner to work. Transmission shows P1744 code( short to ground) After reseting it comes right back. Any ideas how to fix it? Bad circuit board?
