I tried every method shown on this thread and the key fob still won't work.. I don't really mind since it is the spare and my wife usually doesn't drive my car but it would be nice to have two working remotes.... Any other suggestions??

I just had this happen to one of my fobs after changing the cars battery and this method worked on the first try. Thanks Sarge

Ditto. Just had to swap my battery a couple days ago and one fob worked, the other didn't. Sarge786's procedure fixed the one that didn't work.
