Hello everyone, i drive an 07 2.0t, 6-spd. Does anybody ever notice when driving rattling/creaking noises from the dash?.. or anywhere around that basic area? It's not loud but fairly noticable..I told audi at my 5k service to make sure evrything was tight..they said everything was good..i love audi/vw's but i worry about their reliability..let me know what you think..thanks

 

If you bought your car new, dont worry about the reliability. That thing is a tank.

The soft rattling is normal. Unfortunately it seems to be a carry over from VW! My back seat, dash, glove box (ended up breaking at 35K miles) and back seat have always rattled a little. Not to the point that its super noticable, but its there. My car has 44K miles on it. Recently the front seat has started to make a noticable squeaking/rattlingnoise!

Other than that, the car is solid and has beenvery reliable.

 

I don't have a dash rattle but my headliner drives me nuts on cold or hot days.
