resonators mufflers and pipes oh my!
I need some serious help on the realskies right now. I was going to take out my resonators out of my exhaust but after going to local muffler shop he said to take out the two mufflers and leave the resonators in, but im not looking for my car to be dumb loud. Whats everyones idea on this? resonators or mufflers? PLEASE HELP A FELLOW B7 OWNER OUT!!!
If you take the mufflers out, you won't have anything in the back ( i mean the look) plus i dont even know how it is gonna sound.
If you take the resonators out, it is suppose to become more louder + more drone inside on a high speeds
If you dont wanna buy a full/brand name exhaust, go ahead and make a custom exhaust: thicker pipes + aftermarket mufflers. If it is too loud, you can always add a couple of resonators.
But i guess you can try, you can always put them back on, but it is some extra $$$ and work.
Try searching on Youtube, you might find something similar.
