Just bought a late 2007 model audi a4 s line saloon, showing 24k miles, but the front seats are already showing a slight fraying/bobbling/fuzziness, this is quite worrying to me.

is this normal/acceptable as the car has been purchased from an authorised main dealer franchise and am not very good at complaining.

 

The leather is fraying after 2-3 years? That's not typical, but it all depends on how the previous owner treated the car. Could have been the clothes wore, what he used to clean the seats, etc...
