just put a new aircon unit in my 1.9tdi A4 and two weeks later now i have a major problem. smoke coming from exhaust and loosing coolant. sounds to me like a blown gasket or cracked. the funning thing is the cars temp isnt going over 90, there is on water in the oil and the coolant is not mixing with the oil, the oil level hasnt dropped either. but if i put my hand in exchaust there is wet oil i think. also the back panel under the hood where the servo is was full of rain water all the way accross and the drainage was blocked. also car not blowning hot air.

or should i give up.

 

Lots of "sounds like" and "I think". Before I decided to scrap it, I'd probably just pay $100 or so to have someone (dealership or indie shop who knows VAG TDIs) actually diagnose your problems. Just my $.02.
