test pipe vs high flow cat
#2
Be careful with the test pipe. Legally you have to have the cat on the car, or it won't meet emissions. If you live in an area that tests your car's exhaust, you'll flunk, and cause yourself lots of headache. You might also get grief in one way or another selling the car down the road without the cat.

Cat is restrictive- high flow or not. High flow definitely less restrictive than stock, but its still a wad of stuff in the middle of the exhaust stream no less. Test pipe will definitely be louder and with a lot more cruising drone that might bug you after a while; probably a few extra ponies over the hfc- maybe 10ish at the crank- not a huge difference, but as night said, it'll be a huge pain in the *** if you have smog testing where you live.

Also, remember if it's loud enough you may get complaints especially around bedime hours, as well as encounters with the local law enforcement if there are any noise ordinances you might be violating. I know people which have had those things happen.

Stasis is pretty low key without a downpipe; the downpipe is where most of the noise comes from when upgrading, bit even with an upgraded dp the stasis setup is pretty mellow til you rip it hard, then it screams in fury lol
