There's no official service interval for the transmission or the axles. That being said, I just had my transmission done at about 85k miles. It had never been done (to my knowledge). The shop checked the fluid before doing it. He said they recommended it around 60k miles, but if it was too far gone, he wouldn't recommend servicing it because he's seen it cause more problems than it's solved. In my case it was fine and it solved my surging 4,5,6 gear problem that was sounding very similar to the dreaded torque convertor TSB. It wasn't cheap (just under $400 at an independent German specialist), but it was cheaper than a new TQ.

Oil, I change every 5-6k miles. I've gone as high as 10k with no ill effects (since mine doesn't burn oil like some of the 2.0Ts).
