Default Want '08 S-Line if not--how to modify to achieve same look?

We're selling my girl's Civic over the summer when Japanese used car values will be going up due to a looming shortage due to the earthquake --at that time will be getting an '08 Quattro A4. I really like the looks and feel of the true S line with the larger 18" wheels and the stiffer sport suspension.

I know the '08's have the S-LIne body kit, but I want the whole deal if possible.

If I cant find one that fits my Specs (a true S-line)--whats the best way to achieve the lowered stance and performance on a regular 08 A4. Is it just the suspension thats different?
What's the cheapest way to achieve the same level of performance--coilover kit or lowered springs and sport shocks?

Thanks in advance.

Suspension and wheels are about it. If you get an auto I am unsure if the non s-lines came with the paddle shifters. You can do as well, if not better with after market suspension and wheels. There are quite a few threads on here about suspension upgrades.

What is the total drop in inches on the true S-Line '08 A4 vs a stock '08 A4?

What kind of a drop via coil overs or sport springs/shocks do you need to match?

Ha, good question. I bought mine about 2 months ago and it does sit lower than the non. How much I do not know. I think I read some where it was .8 inches lower (but that doesn't sound right). Have no idea onthe other question.

I don't think any spring kits will lower you to match the OEM sport suspension. They all go lower. You would have to buy the OEM suspension, or go with coilovers.

Hmmm all go lower eh?
I spend 40+ days a year in the mtns snowboarding.
I need to find out how much of a drop the sport springs and shocks are vs the coilovers. If the SS's arent too much of a drop to interfere with snow drving--I'd rather go that route.
Would rather just drop it via SS's (cheaper) and be done with it, rather than going w/ the CO's(~ double the price.)
Although switching between winter and summer tires 17" vs 18" or 19" would be more easily done via coils.

I would buy some sline wheels or S4 wheels. Eibach prokits are near stockish feel maybe 25% firmer and just low enough. I have run them and liked them. Very affordable. H&R Sports are great too. (Regular sport not Super)
