It really depends on the dealership that you will take your car for service. My suggestion would be to ask them. Some dealerships don't do warranty work after any modifications while others will do mods for you. Technically the law says that they must prove the modifications caused the failure, but that isn't always how it pans out.

exhaust no...... chip won't "void" your warranty completely... but if you bring your car in for motor problems... (misfires, lack of power) they most likely won't cover THAT repair.
Right now chips are killing the 2.0's turbo.... blowing the oil seals internally. Alot of dealerships know this and are paying attention to causes
