What does the "Red" T mean?

What does the "Red" T mean?

Does anyone know what the red T means on the 2.0 T? I tried looking through the archives but could not find anything.

The badge on the back of the car where is says 2.0T, some of the turbo signs are silver and others are red.

It doesn't mean anything. I was just something Audi did in 2006 (and 2007?) as a design change. I woud have rather had a cd player that plays MP3's but no...I got the red T.

I understand the Red T option is good for 4 hp.

T is for turbo. I think they changed it from red halfway through the 2007 year.
