Smile what should i get first?

I just got a 2007 audi a4 2.0 quattro and was wondering what you guys would get first for your car. Cool air intake or a pop off valve? If any what are some ones I should look at? Like company wise. Thanks

Don't bother with a blow off valve, just get an intake if you want to hear it. Or take the foam insulation out of your existing intake and replace the stock filter with a K&N filter.

Of course, you can still get a blow off valve if you really want it to be loud.

you'll get no performance boost with the intake or valve. those are ricey mods. i'd go with a milltek cat and cat back exhaust.

esandes is right intakes dont do anything for induction engines....and bovs can make u stall,

1) k&n air filter
2) chip
3) milltek cat back
4) milltek high-flow cat

1) no hp gains but sets u up for 2,3,4
2) 50 hp 50 lbs of torque (give or take 5 hp and 5 lbs of torque with all the diff chips
3) 15-20 hp gain
4) another 15-20 hp gain and an absurd amount of torque i think like aorund 25 lbs

so that carbonio intake is a giant waste of money? anything to be had if you do that with a chip? I have a 2005.5 and was thinking of doing the intake a "test pipe" and thats about it no catback because I kind of like the quiet ride as I already have a mustang that will wake the dead.

HUGE waste of money, chip regardless it wont do anything because audi's intake is really efficient to begin with

and the test pipe will raise your exhaust note considerably, i don't mean that in a negative way more so just a warning

I have heard sound clips with the test pipe and I know it changes the sound, I just dont want to a get a loud catback and have the car sound like an EVO or the usual ricey turbo 4. Are there any quiet catbacks that will give me some power? I am all about performance but this is my nice quiet DD, I have a mustang for all that other stuff.

umm i know borla makes a ''hush'' series cat back but i dunno if its made for an audi

mill tek has a turbo back exhaust and it sounds pretty good but it may be a little more sound then what you want

greddy makes an exhaust i think apr makes an exhaust

i think apr's sound was very mild and not that agressive ... i think people who make exhausts for a4 customers know they don't want a nasty ricey sound because of the ones i have heard they aren;t that bad
