Hi, I am new here. I have a 2006 A4 with stock 16" wheels. I am trying to upgrade the wheels to 18's. Talked to the dealer and they told me the new wheels do not fit my year model? is that true? would appreciate any knowledge or suggestions.

it depends sometimes the wheels you want are not made for your car i.e. the bolt pattern, offset, and other things.....you need more information to get a better answer then this

18's could fit....but i dont know what wheels you are talking about

 

I run 18's from an S4. The B6 & B7's will defintelly fit. Nout sure what my offset is since it's on the car. They look nice.

 

your offset will also be much different from quattro or fwd

 

Well my S4's are obviosly Quattro and my A4 is FWD. They fit perfect. I don't think the offsets vary much.
