I was driving along a few days ago in my 2007 Audi A4 B7 Convertible when the plastic seal that runs down the driver's windscreen pillar, filling the gap between the aluminium trim and the glass, decided it didn't want to be with me any more and flew away!! It is the black seal strip shown in the picture below:




I am trying to identify what part number this is as I assume it is available separate from the aluminium trim, but I am having some difficulty. I have a part number which is 8H0-853-669 and is shown as 18 on the diagram below.


The thing is that this doesn't look like the part I am missing, which is more of a formed hockey stick shape. If I search for that part number, I get pictures of the following:


which looks nothing like the part I am missing. Can anyone clarify this for me?

 

I am guessing it is "U" shaped only for the photo. You can see that one corner is pinched pretty bad and it wouldn't be like.
