Default Xenon Replacement without Bumper Removal?

I have read a few posts (and seen a DIY) about replacing the A4's Xenon bulbs without taking off the front bumper. However, I have yet to hear from somebody who has actually done it (except for the DIY); does anybody want to chime in on how difficult it was? Even when I move the steering fluid reservoir and the air intake, it looks EXTREMELY tight in there.

Thanks!

You don't actually have to take the bumper all the way off, anyway. just the screws on the top and sides, and then you can pull it forward a couple inches to get access to the headlight housings. This is what I did to do the clear corners.

Its not bad at all, 30 minute job per side. No need to pull the bumper.

That sounds like a plan. Thanks, Yakky. Although the bumper removal (or pull-forward) may not be too difficult, I don't really even want to mess with it.

Were there any difficulties that presented themselves during the course of the bulb replacement, or was it relatively straightforward?

The drivers side was a bit trickier because of the room, but not bad at all. It a whole lot easier than it looks.
