So i recently my accident put my gear shift into manual mode and didn't realize it until i pressed on the gas and heard this loud noise and so i pulled over and noticed it was on manual and just placed it back to automatic. So now my 2009 audi a4 2.0t quattro premium for some reason i think makes a noise when i step on the gas peddle. I'm not sure but each time i drive i feel like it's making noise from the transmission or something must have happen when i was driving the car in manual mode. So should i be worried? Should i get my car checked out? What kind of sound does your audi make when you drive it?

Forgot to mention that the sound i believe that is happening is like two disc's grinding against each other when i step on the gas peddle. Any ideas on what it might be or is that normal?
