I recently bought an this car and have had it less than a year. I have been adding a quart of oil every other fill up. The shop found a faulty PCV system and replaced it. Apparently, this can cause heavy oil consumption. I have only had the car back 2 weeks and the oil light has come on again!!
Now I am being told I need a new engine for approximately $6-8K!!!!!

 

Call Audi of America about a good faith replacement. Excessive oil consumption is a known issue that they will cover, sometimes even after the original warranty has expired.
