Hey guys I have a 2013 a4 with nav. Car came with ability to plug in ipod adapter, but didn't come with cord. I want to buy one from a 3rd party source, anyone know one that will definitely work for me? Thanks

 

That sucks, I bought my A4 today and it came with the adapter cord. Any way you can go back and sweet talk the dealer into a freebie. Otherwise I would buy online at the audi accessory store or a reseller that sells genuine Audi parts. Good luck!

I have the same problem with my '09 A4. It came without the ipod cord when I purchased it 6 months ago so I ordered one from Amazon that claimed to be compatible. It costed more to ship it than the actual cable and when I connected it to the AMI, it says it is not compatible.
I've been meaning to try to find someone who carries it without having to order it online but haven't gotten around to it. If you have any luck, please let me know where I can find one that actually works!
