I am only at about 5000KM and they have sched me to come in for an oil change and other maint in about 3 weeks i wont be close to 8000KM then but does anyone suggest I go earlier the better or as close to 8000KM as possible?

I would think about 6500-7000 should be a good range to go at?

 

This is the 1st service as 5K miles here in the US is 8K Km where you are. 1st I'm surprised they are schd it for you and not the other way around? What is the rush? Now I know back in the day you would have your oil changed and engine flushed one 1st service but that's no longer the case. I would wait because then you will have a larger gap going to your 24K Km service (15K miles). I would wait personally.
