A4 brake dust

Default A4 brake dust

i just picked up my new A4 last week and have been noticing alot of break dust. is this normal and if so what can i do to decrease it?

welcome to the world of extreme brake dust. wash your vehicle frequently or change brake pads.

Audi runs some of the softest pads out there...that's also why the brakes are so freakin "grabby" while trying to make a smooth stop. I will let the stock pads wear out but will be going with dustless pads for replacements. Using a wheel cleaner that leaves a surface coating or cleaning and applying "wheel wax" will help as well.
