Default A4 upgraded turbo

I am in the market to purchase a 2010 Audi A4 2.0T. The factory horsepower is a little light. I do not know really anything about turbos but I want to upgrade to produce somewhere in the neighborhood od 250-275 horse.

Can anyone tell me what model turbo I should buy, what it should cost, and what it will cost to install. Also, does anything else need to upgraded (i.e. computer, transmission etc.)

Thanks in advance.

with a chip, test pipe and exhaust you can have 250+ HP. check out goapr.com

dahlbeck racing offer packages based on HP you want.

With the right mods with the stock turbo should get you there. You can also go with a K04 upgrade kit which will include tuning/injectors, will want to upgrade to a FMIC and a good flowing exhaust.

Are you just looking for a gaudy HP number? Or are you looking for actual performance (0-60, 1/4 mile, etc.)?

The 2.0T may be 'light' on HP, but it has a decent TQ curve.

You may not really need to have '250HP' if you get the actual performance you want out of a Stage 1 or 2 tune. And you can avoid spending decent bucks in the process.

Stage 1 on an APR tune yields 334 lb-ft of TQ. That's nothing to sneeze at.
