Question Apr stage 1 too much?

I own an audi a4 b8 1.8t 120hp and I'm considering to have an ecu remap from APR. Apr states an increase to 211 hp for both the 120hp and 160hp version. That's stage 1 software upgrade, isn't too much for an increase in hp? APR and Revo (has similar tuning numbers) state that is completely safe increase in power for the car. They also say that 120hp and 160hp are Identical. What do you think? Is it safe to have the apr stage 1 upgrade?

are you sure? i only see a 158 hp 1.8T but theres a deisel at 118 hp. APR is a reputable company and they never overtune a car! my 01 1.8T jetta stock boost 7lb, double that and power really goes up, of course fueling etc are upgraded to match, thats why it WORKS!!

stage 1 is a very mild upgrade-at least that's what i found. stage 2 is serious and you can really tell a difference from stock. with stage 1 i couldn't really tell it was even upgraded from stock. the engine can handle it.
