I go in my car and drive to the shops. When I arrived I couldn’t stop the car or remove the key. I stalled the car to stop the engine, removed the emergency key did what I needed to came back and couldn’t restart the engine. It was still seeing the car as started. After getting towed home I tried changing the ignition key assembly, even trying the old ignition that I looked at and seemed fine. Now thou the car does try an start no crank. I did disconnect the battery for a couple of days while the new ignition came. If anyone has had similar problems an could point me in the right direction it would be much appreciated. I’ve not checked the charge on the battery yet but would expect it to try an turn over at least. Also not checked the fuses (hopefully this it is something that easy).
