I just recently purchased a 2011 Audi A4 from an action. When I got the car, first thing I noticed was that when the car started the MMI wasn't doing anything it's just stuck on the first screen and just says "Audi Infotainment System" after looking around further I noticed in the glove box the Audi music Interface black box is missing. My question is this, since the display is stuck at the first screen, would that be because the Audi music interface is gone? or is there another reason behind that?

Have you turned on the radio or tried to set any of the features using MMI? Mine sits on the same message until I activate something. If that does not help, I can try to disconnect my music interface box and determine if that makes a difference.
