Does anyone have suggestions for protecting the top of the rear bumper from scratches? I have a dog I think is going to like to use it for entry/exit plus I can see loading cargo could be an issue.
This is a 2011 A4 Avant S-Line.

You can either try to get one from ABT (next to impossible) or, have one custom made.

Thank you for the reply, if I can't find anything else that is a good option. I was thinking something more along the lines of a clear plastic film or a clean aftermarket product that goes on but it seems those options are limited.

 

Not to be cheap, but with my previous Honda wagon I kept high quality towel(s) in the cargo area for loading the dog and my bass guitar equipment and prevent it from scratching. Plan on doing the same with my new avant.

Probably doesn't hurt though, and worth checking out the linked stuff in the thread...

 

I just had 3M film protection installed on my 2011 Avant on the hood, front bumper, fenders and mirrors yesterday. I had the installer include the top ridge of the rear bumper as extra precaution from scratches.
