Yes I am using the original cable given to us by audi that connects directly to the car, and the blue tooth module has a 60 pin port on it. Once in a blue moon the music will skip on me, but overall I'm super pleased with the way it works.

Sorry for going off Topic but
I have a 2006 Audi A6 with multi CD player I would like to exchange the CD player to a USB port so I can play multimedia through the head unit does anyone have any information that would be useful for me as I've tried and lots of Jesus the only option was a radio transmitter plugged into the cigarette lighter which is ok but this is lot of distortion
Thank you for any usefull information

This is great if your hidden menu is enabled...mine apparently is not (holding down the buttons does not bring it up in my 2011 A4), and I don't have the cable / software to enable it.

So I guess buying the "hacked" cable from a2dp4audi.com is the cheaper of the two options.

What are you trying to use? the tune2air BT module? I use the original cable, and don't recall turning on any menu. it works well with mine. I also have a 2011 A4.

I bought the $25 bluetooth receiver from Add Bluetooth A2DP Streaming to your Audi - A2DP4AUDI - Audi Bluetooth Adapters

Trying to use it with the standard ipod cable that came with the car and it says there is no device attached or something.

We have the same problem with this AMI, MMI thing to my 2011 A4 Premium Plus. Since I already have this 30-pin iPod connector, my friend recommend this A2DP bluetooth adapter Bovee WMA1000 from viseeousa. From then on, I can stream music wirelessly from my phone library and spotify, and it automatically connects to my phone whenever I enter the car and the good thing is it supports both iPhones and Androids. Its very easy to use just simply plug the device and you can play music and control the steering wheel, etc....
