Well, folks are working on exhaust options for this car....stasis, awe tuning, and others.

If anyone is looking for the rear valance for a dual exhaust setup I have found the following part numbers

For SEDAN:
Non S-line: 8K0 807 521A 01C
S-Line: 8K0 807 521D 1RR

I think the round tip looks like a better choice. I like the option choosen of the rolled tip that gives the exhaust piping a stock like finish.

Default Must prep for APR

Just want to give my two cents. Most of those who would spend the extra cash on exhaust will also have an ecu flash by someone like APR. If you design the exhaust to work in conjunction with the "chip" for an additional hp gain you will sell far more. Too many exhaust are tuned using the stock ecu program.

I agree with this as well, but how big a difference would the tune be really? I figure it would be negligible...someone correct me if I'm wrong

Not sure if I am following why you would have different exhaust tuning for different ECU setups. A more aggressive ECU reflash would result in a bit more exhaust flow but only by a very small amount(of total exhaust volume) It would be very, very hard to differentiate the "optimum" flow characteristics between the two and I seriously doubt any manufacturer would take that into account.

I guess my suggestion is a little backwards. The ECU needs to be calibrated after the exhaust and other mods (like an intake) are installed. The extra air from these mods can effect the ideal settings for an ECU.
