2009 A4 Avant 2.0TDI Auto

A few weeks ago the driver's (RH) door stopped unlocking with the fob so I reached in from the back, got a passenger to open it from the inside or opened the windows then opened form the inside. This past weekend, I have not been able to lock the door with the fob: the led flashes for a bit and then glows while the door is unlocked - if I open it the alarm goes off.

There are threads on here about comfort modules and electronics boxes. Is there a place I can look for the usual issues that might cause the problem?

My passenger door will not lock, and my alarm does not beep as it should. Dont know if its a locking motor, or just a short/wires loose. If you find anything out please lmk thank you very much.
