Hello, new member here, but I dont plan on sticking around for long since I dont own an Audi myself. I just need to know one thing from you audi experts. How/where do I get some of the headlights with the led strips in them? My friend just got a 2011 Audi A4 B8 Quattro with premium package and he wants to upgrade the headlights to the ones with the LED strips. I think that came with the plus package from what I read on here while searching. He says that the dealership said they cant do it due to "compatibility issues?" He is happy with the premium package and just wants the headlights with the led strips. Is there a DIY or a place where he can buy replacement headlights (not from the stealership)? Thanks for your help!

 

I'd imagine swapping the housing out is not an issue, but the wiring of the LED lights might require a bit of work,. The dealership could make this happen, however, I wouldn't invest in their labor prices for it.
Perhaps, pick up the housing unit from the dealership with all necessary parts to complete the task and find a reputable shop to take on the wiring task.
