Arrow Dashboard Sensor Inaccurate - Rear Turn Signal

(2014 Audi A4, 2.0T Quattro)

Hello! I have been getting a dashboard notification that my Right Rear Turn Signal is out (and when you activate the right turn signal, the dashboard flasher (->) does speed up indicating an issue). However, when I check all of my lights, everything seems to be fine. The dashboard sensor turns on only after I have activated the turn signal for a few seconds (whether it is as soon as I turn the car on or not until I have been driving for 15 minutes).

Anyone have any ideas? I remember this being an issue over the summer but then it went away after a week or two. This has now been on for about a week and quite annoying!

Thanks!
Jeff

FYI - I fixed this by just removing the rear taillight, unplugging it and re-plugging it back in. It seems like it just needed a quick clean!
