Looked around but I'm not to sure, the fancy row of those little lights on the headlights new to the 09 a4, are they not on the baseline premium model? Do they require premium plus package? Thanks in advance

 

Yes, Prem+ or Prestige

 

Not that it will help you in the US but in the UK they were only available on the S Line which is a £2.5K upgrade on the SE spec. This includes lots of extra features and kit but also includes the LED Running lights. The LED running lights were not available on any other spec even as an upgrade. There are some early examples of the SE with them but they were removed later in the year as an option. Audi marketing explained that they wanted to keep the S Line more special with the lights. However, so many people complained because this was the only way to get Xenon lights. So you could spend £40K on a 3.2T SE spec and still not get Xenons. They have now been added to the list as an option but only as the Adaptive Xenons/LED DLRs as a £1500 upgrade. Probably the same situation in your market.

Yes, fork out the cash, Audi wants you to upgrade to + or prestige to get them fancy lights...

I thought it was funny how Audi and the automotive press made such a big deal about the LED lights and then Audi pulled a fast one and put them exclusively on the high end models...can't say that I blame them though.

 

At least I found that the other upgrades you get with the premium plus justify the price.
