My brother had a check engine light on his 2015 A4 (B8) and took it to AutoZone to get scanned. After he got the codes back, he went to leave and the car wouldn't start, no lights, steering wheel locked, etc. The only thing on is the dash symbols. Below is a picture. The key fob will lock and unlock, as well as open the hatch but when put in the ignition, you can only hear a click. Any thoughts? Thanks!

No lights and only a click when you turn the key? My first thought is a dead battery. Dash symbols don't take a lot of juice to light.

What were the codes from the CEL?

It's been over two weeks since you posted. I suspect you solved it. What was it??

 

Took it to the local shop and they ended up taking it to the Audi dealer. Been there for a few weeks now with no idea what's wrong.

Ended up buying a new car and will sell the Audi once it's back from the dealer.
