Default Looking at moving from B7 to B8

My kid is considering moving from he 2007 A4 up to a 2009 A4. Based on some of the info I have been reading this was the 1st year of a body change and am interesting to see if there were any problems with it. We have a 2007 A4 2.0 Quattro with 52K miles on it. I suspect we should get a good trade but before starting the search I just wanted to get some opinions on the 2009. Any feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

I previously owned an '08 A4 2.0T Quattro and was not particularly impressed with the car even though it was in first-class condition. So I traded it in for an '09 A4 2.0T Premium Plus and boy what a difference. They not only changed the body, but pretty much the entire car - and all for the better. It is one beautiful automobile and last night I even had a chance to drive it in foul weather and that was a pleasure.

I have to agree. I purchased a CPO 2008 A4 Premium SE from an Audi dealer and had it all of 8months. I brough it in for 35Kmiles service and they gave me a B8 model which was a day and night difference. I wanted a B8 the minute I stepped foot in the loaner car. I went back to my dealer last week and upgraded to a 2009 a4 2.0t prestige and i feel like im driving on clouds now. With the 08 it was in amazing shape, I bought it with only 24k miles on it but from day one it felt like a car to beat the **** out of. with the 09 I dont think Ive gone over the speed limit yet. its just so smoothe and comfortable. Theres no engine rattle like in a B7 and that made a world of difference to me. Ive never been this happy with a car.

I also agree with everyone else. I've driven a few previous models and have been impressed. The current model is even that much better. Great handling, smooth ride, one of the best interiors ever, etc.
