Hi so the other day while topping off the oil, I mistakenly did not screw the oil cap all the way on. About 20 minutes later while driving the Low Oil pressure light alert came on. I was wondering if an oil change would fix this and reset the pressure? Or do I have to bring it in?
Thanks a lot

1st is how much oil did you lose. Next was it LOW OIL PRESSURE or LOW OIL as the warning. How far did you drive with the warning message on. If you have low oil PRESSURE that is a different problem then low oil. If it is low oil warning the light will go off when you fill it up. If low oil pressure then take it to your dealer/mechanic. Good luck

The little oil can icon at the top of the middle display is low oil. Even in the loose cap caused low pressure, screwing it back in should eliminate the light after a while.
