I’m looking to buy a 2013-2015 b8 with around 100k miles on it. Bad idea? What are some things I should look out for and what things should I make sure have been replaced already?

 

At that mileage, I would suggest having it checked out thoroughly by someone who knows Audis. Like any vehicle that is 4-6 years old, things fail. You should test every switch and feature to make sure they work. If you can get them, ask to see the service records. The good news is that this is too new to have the dreaded oil consumption problem.

I purchased my 2011 A4 in 2014 with 99600 miles (now 141k). Other than the dang oil consumption, everything else continues to work on this car and repairs have been negligible (rear struts). This is my winter driver so it goes out in all sorts of miserable MI weather. I do keep it garaged.
