I'm rather embarrassed to admit I backed into a pole a few months ago and slightly crumpled the right rear side panel (about 6" from the bumper). The body shop we have dealt with for a previous vehicle wasn't able to book us until 3-1/2 weeks ago.
Ever since getting it back, I've had problems with the control panel. The lights for the fan are staying on except when I push the "auto" button.
So that's been going on for 2-1/2 weeks.
Then today, the bluetooth interactive button wouldn't do anything and, at the same time, the light on the dash which shows what music or station in playing wasn't working.
So my question is, is there anyway the body shop could have messed up the wiring to cause these problems or it is simply a major coincidence?

How old and how good is your battery. Was the damage on the battery side of the trunk. Get it load tested to see it's status
