I needed a new daily driver my 325i has 98,000 and my explorer has 120,000. With the price of maintenance, repairs, and insurance on these two I decided to get one vehicle to replace them both. I love the utility, power, handling, and most of all 30 mpg hwy. I have read a few concerns on here about it's handling, but I found it to be well balanced.

 

ordered a 2.0L Premium Plus about two weeks ago myself, ..still waiting for it to come in....very impatient, looks like a really nice car...ordered mine in metallic black on black. was told by dealer it would be in to dealer in two weeks and was at dock in new jersey last week, still not here...is this typical...I am in connecticut, can't understand why it would take so long to get up from NJ docks..???? any opinions???

 

I ordered an Ibis White, Black Interior, Walnut Trim Avant today...can you believe that this color combo does not exist in the entire US, so I had to order from the factory!!

 

Hi, you guys that have ordered a B8 A4, do you get them from Audi US Stock or are they all made to order in Germany for you? Average lead time on a B8 in the UK is 8 - 12 weeks. I ordered mine in March 2008 and it arrived in the middle of August for a 1st Septmber delivery. I was told that they deal with German market first, which is only fair I guess!

I just wondered because DonW ordered one two weeks ago he says and has only waited two weeks for it to arrive? Would Audi ship 1000s over in various colour and spec combos and then you get to pick from them and then a German order if they do not have what you want?

Mine took ages and it was one of the 1st S Line A4s to be delivered in the UK. Aruba Blue, Piano Black Inlays, black Stitching to the seat and steering wheel and 30 mm S Line suspension.

 

Ordering my first Audi on this coming Saturday:

Very excited! I have to wait for the car to be delivered from the dock as well, though. I was told 5 days or so. I'm already in NJ. Anyone have any idea how long it typically takes?
