I have been reading a lot about how you need to have a Vag-Com mod in order for this to work. I am stating, from my own experience, that is not the case. Yesterday as I was putting the car in reverse, I decided that I wanted to dip the mirror to get very close to the curb. (yes, I was going to manually dip the mirror)

The second I move the mirror switch to the right mirror, the mirror dips and pans in. Once I take it out of reverse it returns to my normal setting. The only caveat is that the mirror adjustment **** must be on the right mirror.

Thought I would share as it is a nice feature.

I posted it because I kept reading about people using the VAG-COM tool to enable it.
