I have checked the oil via the MMI in the dash often and have often had problems getting the read out to come up. I often get a message stating no inoformation is available and it seems to be getting worse. Today, I added 1/2 quart and want to check just how far it brought the level up. The problem is, the car absolutely refuses to give me a readout...even worse, the only info it gave me was an "empty bar" and a statement saying the car may be on an incline??? I got a reading just prior to adding oil(almost to the bottom of the gauge) and expected the level to at least be higher. Now, I have tried to check the oil ten times and the one time I get any info, it doesn't show any oil at all.
Anyone know what is going on?
