Got a white 09 2.0T Quattro, Auto Trans, Premium Plus with Navi, Exhaust Tips, All weather floor mats, cargo netting for 36,350 plus TTL. This was a purchase not a lease. Thought it wasnt a bad deal.

I'll be picking up a 2009 Avant, Premium Plus, Meteor Gray, in the next few days. Paying 36,600. The next lowest quote (from a different dealer) I got for the same car was 37,350. I could have gotten a quartz gray Avant from the lot for less, but I asked them to find me a meteor instead. I'm happy to be getting some of the "decontented for 2010" features; i.e., auto-dimming mirrors and memory seats. Whoever got the P+ Avant for 34,100 -- that sounds like a pretty amazing price. Was that a clunkers deal?

Default 2009 A4 Premium Plus $31000+TTL in July

I got mine on July 31st. There was a 2500 Dealer rebate going on at that time. This price does not include Cash for Clunkers.

The purchase price doesn't mean anything to people on this board unless you clarify whether it includes taxes, title and licensing or not. Even better, tell us what the invoice price was and how much over/under you got.

Also be aware that many dealers will give you the handshake on the 'final price' and then hand you a contract that lists a bunch of taxes and processing fees ON TOP of the 'final price.' Some of those are junk fees.

So please try to provide as much details about the final charges as possible - it really helps others to negotiate a better deal.

There was no trade or clunker cash involved. Basically I emailed various dealers and got them down to 35.5k via email, then I waited a month to try and figure out what I wanted to do. My wife set 34k as her max (I didn't think we would get that); I emailed the dealer and told them that was my price. They told me to come in and talk so I did; they tried to come back with 34,500 and I got up to leave. They then came back with 34,100 and I agreed; I really would have left at 34,500 and I think they knew that.

Total price = 34,100 includes Quartz Gray Avant P+ with all weather mats
Audicare = $740 (I made the mistake of not negotiating this into the price)
Dealer Fee = $500 (they refused to remove this and given the price they were giving me I didn't push too hard)
TTL = not sure but whatever Florida charges - no "extras" in this fee

I bought last day of August so the dealer was able to use the $2,500 cash and they really wanted to sell.

I think it helps that I am in Florida - every dealer I spoke with said they can never sell the Avants and some dealers weren't even ordering any 2010's. I guess Floridian's hate the wagons; the dealers seemed desparate to get rid of them. Worked out well for me; I love it!

Hello all,

New to the forum as I just picked up a 2009 A4 Avant 2.0T w/Premium and 18" sport package, brilliant black. I also go them to throw in the factory base roof racks and one set of kayak carriers. This was in Southern NH

MSRP= 40,425
I paid 35,499 + $199 Document fee + $69.00 Title/Reg fees. No trade

This is my first Audi (Replaced a 2004 Passat 4Motion wagon) Hope to learn more as I visit this forum.

Cheers

I picked up my '09 Avant today, and want to update my previous post with more precise pricing information:

2009 A4 Avant Premium Plus, Meteor Gray

Sticker: $40,150
Invoice: $37,986
License & Title: $10
Dealer "Documentary Service Fee": $151

Total Payed: $36,761 (this is _before_ sales tax, which will be about $2k)

So far (four hours!) I'm really happy with it -- it's quite an upgrade from a 2001 A4.

I got an a4 3.2 prem+ with sport package, navi, meteor gray, msrp of $45,450 got it for $36,700 before TTL, second a4...sweetness...love the engine! I thought it was a good deal, but then i heard people were getting the a4 3.2 prem+ (no options) for $10,000 off of msrp in my area (heard they had 3 at this price, it was actually an advertised offer)...but realized that it was a base model, no options...and im not sure i could live without the sport package.
