I do not know if anyone else noticed these on the new audi a4 models, but I have a big issue with the gears and the brakes. At some points during acceleration or decceleration, the gears do not shift smoothly (automatic transmission) and the car yanks. I feel that this is bothersome and also poses as a safety issue. I brought this issue with the dealership, but they said that there is a new "fuel saving feature" on the new a4, which results in that doing. Yet, I think it's a bunch of crap.

In addition, I'm disappointed in the brakes. It is hard to brake smoothly because the brakes are so stiff. I had a BMW 3-series before and BMW brakes are known to be sensitive and stiff, but this audi a4 09 brakes are terrible to control. It almost feels like the car has to jerk a little every time I stop.

downshift is only noticeable before a full stop, that is perfectly normal in an Audi A4. That's why I order the manual transmission.
