Question about factor Halogen bulbs...
I have this 2009 Audi A4 2.0T Quattro 2.0T premium sedan. It just has simple factor halogen headlights as well as the fogs. I want to replace the bulbs for both the headlights and fogs to something that gives off more light at night for better visibility since these current lights SUCK.
Any ideas on how i can get new lights in this car without voiding my warranty? Do you guys have any suggestions on what i should replace the halogens with either HID or LED's? Or should i just replace the entire headlights and get new headlights that comes with daytime LED's or HID's?
PS: would HID's or LED's even work if i just replaced the bulbs, like would there need to be coding done so those lights would work?

you can retrofit an HID kit on your car but i highly recommend you do not since you do not have projector headlights. the HIDs in a nonprojector housing will blind others in front of you. as far as warranty goes i highly doubt even retrofitting the factory projector housings will not void the warranty. pretty much anything you do besides putting things back to stock before you take the car in for electrical issues will most likely cause the warranty to be voided.
if you didn't worry about warranty, i would say retrofit the factory projector housing which also has the LED strip in it. as for the fog lights, i highly recommend a 3k HID kit. it gives off a strong yellow light which significantly helps give the road contrast between flat and bump/pothole. i got my kit from krautoparts.com and they are amazing
