Is there a speed limiter on my A4? (see my sig for specs) I know the speedo goes to 180mph, and my tires are rated to 186mph... but I'm kind of interested to know how fast she'll really go. And since I don't have a several mile straight away w/o cops readily available, I figure this is a safer way to find out. Anyone know?!

Thanks!

130mph in the States.

Speedo is a little ridiculous in that regard.

I've never taken mine faster than 131 mph (long lonely stretch of California highway), but I was under the impression that the governor kicks in at 155 mph. Is that not correct?

130 is the limit on the 2011 A4 Avant, US Spec. I live in Europe and drive on the Autobahn and Autostrada all the time.. Trust me 130 is it. If you took the Gov off i swear it would do 170 with no problem..

130 is the limit but with the apr tune it removes the limiter. I have done 160mph in my 2009 2.0t A4 and that's about all it had in it.
